of this band to a high level. The band after thirteen years of existence is matured like the good old wine
and believe me that the taste that will remain within you after listening to this album, will be more than
enough superb! Humbucker is the name of this band and keep this name in mind because it will keep you busy
for the following years. The album “R.O.C.K.S” is a release of 2011 labeled by Humbucker Records, it was mixed
and mastered by Beau Hill and after you listen to the album you will realize why I mentioned his name.
Beau Hill has millions of albums on his back and lots of co-operations with famous rock bands, his touch in
this album appears in the sound. The guys that are responsible for your music satisfaction are: Jan Anders Boen
(lead vocals), Vidar Svanheld (lead guitars, backing vocals), John Peter Pershaug (lead guitars, backing vocals),
Lars Stian Havraas (bass, backing vocals), Geir Arne Dale ( drums, backing vocals). The first notes that come
to my ears deserve my attention and my attention deserves them. And if I just cannot escape this genre is just
because that’s “The Way I Am”. This track is serves rock n’ roll exemplary, I just think what I should mention
first… Let’s say that these “howling” vocals have the roughness of the hailstorm, they fall on you piercing
your mood with elements of Jan’s vocal exceed. Follow these lead guitars to their devastating rhythm from the
first to the last note, put some steam off and lay down the law of Rock N’ Roll!! After this track my mood
craves for more and waits for the next track to come to its “door” delivering the rhythm to my soul! …And it comes,
painting my world with “Black Nickel». Erupting and shiny it breaks the walls of my routine, hot like the lava of a
Rock N’ Roll volcano. Load your spirit with the urge to travel within music, take these notes and create your
“steel horse”, ride over the black n’ blue sky and let your spirit guide you to the core of this extraordinary

spirit!! “Priscilla” sways like a pole dancer, smooth and seductive, I already imagine a video clip for this one.
The sleazy saloon bar, the lethal women, the nasty guys standing at the bar… The intro of this track is covered
by a voice that sounds lusty until the drum beat crafts a steady rhythm that gathers its mates, the guitars,
for a gig that walk the dusty road of a wicked love from the sound to the every single living cell of me.
That is a transfusing track, I already feel it flowing inside of me, hell yeah!! If you are a good boy/girl
you are going to “Paradise”, but this one is forged in the heat of Humbucker.
