Since we were writing for certain artists, we both knew that we needed to get guitarists and singers who could convey a specific atmosphere. We were able to work with crazy talented players such as Keith Howland (Chicago), Tim pierce (Rick Springfield, goo goo Dolls), Harry Cody (Shotgun Messiah), Tony Palacios (Guardian) and lance Morrison (don Henley, Rick Springfield).
And singers? Oh, my God. Monamour brought drama and passion to these songs like no other singer I’ve ever heard. Billy Trudell, who worked at Warpipes at the time, caused a sharp and melodious thunder: “When it was a game,” “Runaway fire,” and “(No, no),” “Honor among thieves.”
