Blu-ray concert of magnificent Queen, recorded on December 24, 1975. Forty years have passed, tydyts. The good guys are shocked. Moreover, there is a fresh interview with Brian and Roger on the disc, they, speaking about it, are obviously also in shock.
The concert is not only famous for the first performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody”, it is also good because, as Brian said in an interview, they still had few hits, and therefore they could play the entire album in a row :). Then the interviewer asked: “Where is ‘You are my best friend’??? And Brian replied: “Duc played. But the BBC was, as usual, only an hour’s broadcast, so they filmed their hour, collected their belongings and quickly disappeared, and we continued to play …” By the way, – incredible stuff! – This interview has subtitles, so the good guys can turn on some English (or Portuguese) and rejoice. Although there was nothing special. Basically, Roger and Brian “remembered the days gone by” and were sad for Freddie. But the concert itself is good, yes. All young, all handsome, break away from the soul. Video quality – SD-BD, 4:3, this is understandable. The sound is nothing. The bonus also includes three tracks from the Tokyo show this year. The quality is worse there.
