STEELHEART Records is pleased to announce the release of the U.S. to announce street rock band WHISPER ALLEY for its much-anticipated “Lost U.S. Jewels” series.
WHISPER ALLEY were another group of rock soldiers who got lost in the great grunge wars of the early 90’s.
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, they’ve been touring clubs both headlining and supporting acts like Dokken, Badlands, Great White, Quiet Riot, Bulletboys, Junkyard, Sweet F.A. Jet Boy, Arcade, The Scream, Jackyl, Rhino Bucket and Richie Sambora. Their hard-hitting glam/street sound was a mix of early Motley Crue, Skid Row (“Slave To The Grind” era) and Quiet Riot, packed with shredding metal guitars, instant choruses and a healthy dose of attitude.
Entitled “Up Yer Alley”, the CD will contain 10 original tracks: 6 tracks from the 1992 tape “Disturbing The Piece” + 4 additional unreleased tracks from 1993.
All tracks are remastered from the original tapes, with the usual rich artwork (booklet with photos and flyers) and liner notes by Rob Evans.
