As requested, here’s a rarity for all late ’80s Californian hard rock aficionados, especially John Corabi fans. Released via small Stevie Rachelle label RLS Records, “Kings Of Sunset Strip Vol. 1” compiles recordings of 4 unsigned bands from the Hollywood Sunset Strip golden era.

The bands featured were among the best from the scene circa 1987-1988: Young Gunns (later morphed into the awesome Wildside), Jailhouse, Tommi Gunn and Angora (feat. John Corabi on lead vocals) > 3 tracks each. All songs were recorded in professional studios; Angora songs taped 1988, Tommi Gunn 1988, Young Gunns 1989, and Jailhouse 1991 (co-produced by Gunnar Nelson).
