Alternative rock (also called alternative music, alt rock or simply alternative) is a genre of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular by the 1990s.
I don’t know why this band isn’t more well known. They should be up there with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. That’s how good they really are. Since forming in 2006, the Letter Black have proven to be one of the hardest working bands in Christian hard rock, often playing as many as 150 shows a year.

This is the best Cotton Mather album since Kontiki (one of the best indie-rock albums ever!) The production, especially on Roberts voice, the jingly guitars and the catchy melodies are very reminiscent of that landmark LP.
