A lot has changed in Southern Rock since Ronnie Van Zant and Lynyrd Skynyrd blew it up it back in the early 70s. Like most things, Southern Rock’s survival has depended on its evolution, which has been healthy and generally accepted. The common point is most of it originated in the deep southern states, most notably Florida.
This notion is changing with the Roaming Soldiers, a melodic Southern Rock unit out of Fort Worth, Texas, and their new release, Wild Child.
