Classic rock is a radio format which developed from the album-oriented rock (AOR) format in the early 1980s. In the United States, the classic rock format features music ranging generally from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, primarily focusing on commercially-successful hard rock, blues rock, and arena rock popularized in the 1970s.
This cd has a good sound, but is not very good, with more work and more pay attention this can be much better as sound.

On April 5, The album is called Out Of The Blue, and it comes in several versions. The standard CD is a digipak with a booklet. It reveals that the album was produced by Mike Rutherford and Paul Meehan and that Mike’s son Harry was the sound engineer. Then there is a 2CD set in a high format mediabook (see image below). The second CD contains six other acoustic re-recordings. The album is also available on vinyl and as a digital download.
The artwork is well known as it has been used already to promote the Looking Back (Over My Shoulder) Tour. So you find the baloons with artwork from previous Mechanics albums on the cover of Out Of The Blue as well. The singles don’t have the baloons, just the blue background. In December 2006 Classic Rock #100 was published. The enclosed cd was in fact only the 37th (compilation) cd being released with an issue of the magazine. Some of the previous issues instead was more likely in some cases to have a compilation DVD enclosed. However since 2007 a companion cd has been following almost all issues. In the UK some issues even has featured 2 cd’s of which one was not enclosed outside the UK.

Officially never released on cd though a version in 2012 was made available at iTunes as Time – The Musical, Acts I and Acts II.
Dave Clark wrote a science fiction stage musical, Time, which debuted in 1986. It played for two years in London’s West End, starring Cliff Richard (replaced later by David Cassidy). The musical also launched a concept album called Time The Album which featured Cliff Richard, Freddie Mercury, Leo Sayer, Stevie Wonder and Dionne Warwick. Two million copies were sold and it spun off several hit singles.
