In 1992 the YARDBIRDS were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and JIM McCARTY, the bands drummer, has experienced fame and fortune since the band split back in 1968 with firstly RENAISSANCE, SHOOT, ILLUSION, BOX OF FROGS and STAIRWAY.

Having recorded solo albums in the 90’s, Jim decided in 2000 to form RENAISSANCE ILLUSION with his former band mates JANE RELF, LOUIS CENNAMO and JOHN HAWKEN, who had all been in the bands Renaissance and Illusion with him, to record a new album.

Germany THE ELECTRIC FAMILY released the first studio album for 10 years on Sireena Records with “Terra Circus”. One can say without exaggeration that “Terra Circus” has become the most rocking and impulsive album of the ELECTRIC FAMILY. The energy of the 7 tracks is formally comprehensible and especially guitar player Rolf Kirschbaum is powerful. The whole band presents itself in the very best form. With the two Coversongs “Lucrecia, My Reflection” by SISTERS OF MERCY and “Mary, Mary So Contrary” by CAN, THE ELECTRIC FAMILY serve psychedelic monsters. A powerful and really great album.

Most musicians are bred from a young age and thought the ABCs of music. However Dan was a music illiterate until the age of 16, when he got his first guitar.
In primary school the first instrument Dan was given was a recorder (flute). But instead of playing music with it Dan found more amusement playing light sabers with his friends. Year 7, Dan failed music class and was said that he displayed no interest in the subject. However at the age of 14 Dan was asked to take the percussion instruments back into the store room by his music teacher.
