On November 26, the classic Asia collection box “The Official Live Bootlegs Volume 1” will be released via the company BMG Records.

The Official Bootlegs, Volume One is a 10 CD box set containing Asia performances from across the world between 1982–2010. Including shows from Buffalo, USA, 1982; Worcester, USA, 1983; São Paulo, Brazil, 2007; Tokyo, Japan, 2008 and London, UK 2010, the set presents Asia at its most raw and most intimate. Packaged in an open ended slipcase, with beautifully designed original artwork from Roger Dean, the high quality audio for all 5 shows has previously been unheard. Includes 12-page booklet with rare band photos and liner notes from Asia expert Dave Gallant.

Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA based rockers Störmbreaker consisting of frontman Christopher Sele, guitarists Logan Stahlecker and Billy Schlump, bassist Jeremy Brown and drummer Logan Loebrick will be releasing their debut full-length album Strike The Match on November 5, 2021.

Whilst acknowledging their obvious ability and acclaim, the likes of U.D.O. and the Schenker’s have always left me cold and uninterested, so it was with a very deep sigh that I pressed play on the second album from that nation’s Bad Butler and, in all honesty, settled back to be completely unimpressed.

Tony Mitchell is perhaps best known for forming the classic band Kiss Of The Gypsy in the 90’s. But he has also been in bands like Dirty White Boyz. As well as collaborating with Rick Wakeman. Now Tony appears with his new solo album “Hot Endless Summer Nights”, which both song and production have more to wish for.

But here you can still find some bright spots such as the album’s title track and “Drowning In A Sea Of Paradise”, “Leave The World Behind” (the album’s best track) and “Turn Back Time”. The rest of the songs unfortunately do not appeal to me at all as some of them are pure abysmal. Just take the concluding “Calling Mother Nature” which is really deplorable. Thought Tony Mitchell

For recording the new studio album, Bonamassa hit the studio with longtime collaborators Kevin Shirley as producer and manager/business partner Roy Weisman as executive producer. Recorded in New York City at Germano Studios/The Hit Factory the band includes Steve Mackey (bass), Lachy Doley (piano), Bunna Lawrie (didgeridoo), Bobby Summerfield (percussion), and Late Night with David Letterman’s Anton Fig (drums and percussion), along with Mahalia Barnes, Juanita Tippins, and Prinnie Stevens on backing vocals.

Winterhawk was originally formed in 1977 by guitarist/vocalist Jordan Macarus in Chicago. However, the original lineup lasted only until 1980. But Jordan Macarus wasn’t thinking of giving up just yet. Jordan Macarus developed the idea of the “revival” album with his longtime friend Chris Mazur, with whom he shared a room at Northern Illinois University.

In 2018, Bodyguerra impressed the crowds as special guests for Graham Bonnet (former Rainbow / MSG vocalist) and his band on a tour through Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands. In spring 2020 the confirmed tour with David Reece Band (Accept, Bonfire) got canceled due to Corona.

In late 2019, Guido and Ela started writing new songs. The result is the band’s new album “Fire & Soul” featuring eleven brandnew rocking-bluesy tracks plus one special bonus track; recorded at Empire Studios, mixed, mastered, and co-produced by Rolf Munkes (Crematory). Bodyguerra will impress you with powerful rock as well as melodic songs with catchy hooks like “Stay Free” and “Steelheart”, while the title track “Fire & Soul&#8221

Coming from New Orleans, HAGAN was primarily influenced by seventies bands like Led Zeppelin,Aerosmith, Van Halen and Black Sabbath, but also embraced the sounds of their ’80scontemporaries like Dokken, Dio, Def Leppard and Ratt and definitely leaned the heavier end of the Hard-Rock spectrum.

-The band cut a 4-tracks demo-tape in1986(something that became acult-item from then!)and played some local gigs, eventually morphinginto anewversion of the band under a new name: BANG!BANG!
