Robert Majd is perhaps best known from the bands Captain Black Beard and Metalite, but now he has the chance to stand on his own two feet. In mid-July, he releases the solo album “Midnight Hunter” via the company Melodic Rock Records. To help him, Robert has a number of well-known names such as Björn Strid (The Night Flight Orchestra, Soilwork), Robin Eriksson (Degreed), Linnéa Vikström (Therion, At The Movies), Chips Kiesbye (Sator) and Jona Tee (HEAT) . Erik Modin from Wildness is the one who took care of the production and did well.

The melodic hard rock band Black Rose will soon release their new single “The Fall” with an accompanying music video. This will be the first taster from the upcoming album “Game Of Souls”

Big Guns formed in 1985 after the release of Stephen Crane’s solo record, Kicks (MCA 1984). Due to the departure of Irving Azoff and the consequent shock at the MCA that year, the album was released without promotion and left to itself, without being able to reach any chart of the time, even if, curiously, it was subsequently reissued twice in Europe, garnering rave reviews.

Due to the label’s inability to promote the release and the group, Crane and guitarist Duane Sciacqua (pictured above) continued to write and record new songs. Joined by Johnny Burnett, the two then enlisted Paul Daniel and Matt McKelvie, creating the Big Guns.

British rockers The Darkness have announced their new album, Motorheart, out on October 15th via Cooking Vinyl in classic formats, as well as Deluxe CD with bonus track, Exclusive Color LP and Tape.
