Bride – Snakes In The Playground 2021 Girder Records Remaster

While Kinetic Faith represented a quantum leap for Bride, from their retro metal roots to the bluesy hard rock that was reigning at the top of the mainstream charts at the dawn of the Alternative era, it turned out to be a mere warm-up for the band’s real breakthrough, Snakes In The Playground. Sounding something like the musical equivalent of a car that had stripped out everything but the gas pedal, the steering wheel, and the driver’s seat, this was blistering, raw, hard rock with a laser focus on memorable songwriting, irresistible riffs, and Thompson’s voice. Sure – it may have been “Christian music’s answer to Guns N’ Roses,” but in this case, that answer was a resounding “Forget you!”

– John Thompson (True Tunes)<

BARREN CROSS – RATTLE YOUR CAGE (Retroactive Remastered) 2021

The guitar crunch is very much alike Helloween’s ‘Master of The Rings’ and ‘Time of the Oath’, in other words, powerful hard rock from the 90s.

Released in 1994, this album got sandwiched between trendy grunge rock and alternative hipsters that thought “metal” was a dirty word. Metal bands were having the life sucked out of them. “Hairband” was a derogatory term, and stars of the LA Strip scene were treated like an embarrassing drunk uncle. Despite the anti-metal sentiments, Barren Cross defied all odds and put out an epic classic metal/hard rock album on Rugged Records. That label folded and the album went out of print almost as soon as it was released. While their 80s albums were more polished power metal

Seventh Crystal – Delirium 2021

Here you can see the cover of the melodic hard rock band Seventh Crystal’s debut album “Delirium”, which will be released on May 14 via the company Frontiers Records.

This new band was put together by singer Kristian Fyhr (Perpetual Etude) who initially wanted to pursue a solo project; however, when the songs started to take form, he realized he wanted to involve more musicians. So, he moved to vocals only and brought in Johan Älvsång (Pinstripe Conspiracy, Lamashtu) on keyboards and piano and Olof Gadd (Osukaru) on bass to start. The line-up was then rounded out by Anton Roos on drums and Emil Dornerus on guitar.
