Kerslake Lee – Eleventeen 2021


With a career that goes back to the 1960s, Lee Kerslake’s first step into the rock limelight was with The Gods, recording “Genesis” in 1968 and “To Samuel A Son” in 1969.

Joining Toe Fat for their self-titled debut in 1970, via 1970’s “Orgasm” by Head Machine, so far Lee had shared his musical journey with multi-instrumentalist and song writer Ken Hensley. This musical connection and friendship would be further cemented in 1972 when Lee joined Ken in Uriah Heep for the classic “Demons & Wizards” LP, remaining behind Heep’s drum kit for the best part of 30 plus years. Lee also found time to make cameos drumming for Ken Hensley and David Byron solo records along the way, and most notably as a founder member of Ozzy Osbourne&#82

Gary Hughes – Decades 2021


Gary Hughes, the British melodic hard rock singer known for his vocals, songwriting, and production, has announced the release of a best of collection, “Decades” encompassing his over three decades of work. This double album offers some of the best Hughes’ songs taken from his self-titled release, “Precious Ones,” “Veritas,” and “Once and Future Kings”. It also includes some rare tracks which were originally only released in Japan on the “In Your Eyes” EP. “Decades” is an album full of his influences and experiences and opens the door to the past while looking to his future at the same time.

Plastic Tears – Anthems For Misfits 2021


Finnish rockers Plastic Tears consisting of lead vocalist Miqu December, drummer Eco Xtasy, bassist Edu Kettunen, and guitarists Juha Pietiläinen and Andy Whitewine have released an album trailer video for their upcoming new studio album Anthems For Misfits., which will be released via Wormholedeath Records.

Sniff ‘n’ The Tears Love – Action (Remastered + Bonus) 2021


The third Sniff ‘n’ the Tears album from 1981 had Paul Roberts leading a largely new band of musicians and Mike Howlett at the helm producing. This new digipak edition is completely remixed by Paul to remove some of the 80s patina and expose the rawer more immediate sound of the original performances.

The songs can now breathe a little easier and gain in strength as presented here. That splashy drum sound, beloved in the 80s, is now replaced by a more robust rhythm altogether and the guitars bite like they should. A much tougher record is here for all to hear. There are three bonus tracks, two of which have appeared before on compilation, but ‘Say What You Mean’ makes it’s debut here in any form. IRON 501 – SGT RECKLESS (2021)


Roxx Records is happy to be kicking off the new year with another brand new project fronted by Dale Thompson of Bride. Iron 501 is the brain child of Myles Barfield and the band has been recording with Dale on vocals for about 2 years now, but this is the first full length release from the project. This first full length release is entitled ‘Sgt Reckless’ and features 12 all new original tracks fronted by Dale Thompson with musical direction coming from Myles Barfield.

Iron 501 describe their music as hard rock with a groove and their songs reflect on two things their faith in Jesus Christ and appreciation for those who serve.
