The fourth album from Angelica might be Dennis Cameron’s shinning moment. Loaded with guitar shredding and melody it’s almost to Angelic what Against the Law was to Stryper, musically their best album. Simply put it’s a AOR masterpiece. Songs like the opening track GOTTA GET READY and OPEN YOUR MIND really showcase Dennis’s amazing guitar chops. This man (Dennis) fly’s all over the fretboard. The acoustic intro of DON’T STOP really proves however that Dennis is much more than a shredder. This album has so much rhythm and feel to it. Yeah it’s melodic rock but it’s pure music perfection from the melodic overtones of TIME IS ALL IT TAKES and I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE, to the rockin’ tunes of RUNNING WILD. It’s Angelica in perfect form.

Fighter was a Melodic AOR Christian Rock band. They released two albums in the early 90’s. Fighter’s first album THE WAITING was released in 1991 and BANG THE DRUM was released in 1992. Vocals were handled both by Amy Wolter and Sean Murphy. They played arena style rock with hooks and melodies that rocked. Dual vocals proved to work great for them and provided dynamics not seen by a lot of other bands.

Rock Candy now presents the self-titled album as a remaster and has the booklet completely redesigned. Plus four bonus tracks!ONLY CHILD could become THE radio band in the USA. If you like an independent mixture of new Van Halen and Foreigner, you should definitely go for it. (Rock Hard).

By mid-1986, after heavy metal cover band Ozias—featuring guitarists Brent Chasteen and Mark Engel—fell apart while transitioning toward writing original material, the foundation was laid for DEUS VULT’s formation. Brent and Mark hooked up with drummer Virgil D.B., and by 1987 had secured Tom Mangan on bass and Duane Harmon on vocals—a lineup that would produce the band’s debut three-song demo in 1988. Shortly after that demo, Duane was replaced by former Thruster frontman Aaron Thomas, and DEUS VULT’s most prolific run began.
