Formed in London as a somewhat ad-hoc pub rock band going under the handle of Filthy McNasty, and fronted by two superlative vocalists, Chris Thompson (previously of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band) and Stevie Lange (wife of super producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange). They secured a loyal following on the club circuit and were eventually offered a record deal from Planet Records, an American based label affiliated to Warner Bros. MelodicRock Records is excited to welcome guitarist MICHAEL JESSEN to the label. MRR will release Michael’s new album ‘Bulletproof’ alongside fellow Dane Martie Peters on March 15.

Born and raised in Denmark, Michael Jessen played with several rock bands through his youth, including “McTamparcs” to “High Octane”, “RockStar” and several others.
He picked up the guitar by the age of 15, and a childhood friend taught him how to play the main riff for AC/DC’s “Hells Bells”.

Kamion was born back in 2014 from guitarists Paul and Patch’s idea of starting an original music band. Unfortunately, the research of valid members is unsuccessful and the project is put aside for years, until January 2017 when Paul asks Dodo, a well-known singer in their area, to join the band.

With him on board, together with Dan on drums and Lux on bass, the line-up is finally complete! After spending an entire summer in the rehearsal room, the Kamion sound was born: a balanced mix of modern and old school styles featuring each member’s musical influences. Under Fire’s sole release is something of a lost AOR classic, and the making of what might have been a minor super-group.
