’77 ‎– Bright Gloom 2018

The spanish answer to AC/DC.5th studio album by the spanish hard rock band.Rock will never die! Not as long as ‘77 have a say in the matter.

Since ’77 are true enthusiasts of rock it is no surprise that their new album, “Bright Gloom”, is the hardrock album that you would expect from the quartet surrounding the brothers Armand (lead singer/rhythm guitar) and LG (lead guitar/backing vocals) Valeta.

STEEL CITY – Fortress 2018

Steel City is a band made up of two of the newest upcoming stars in the melodic rock scene. Mike Floros (Guitarist) and Bryan Cole (Vocals). When Mike Floros armed with an arsenal of songs and a vision to create the album he always wanted to as both a fan and musician. He knew he needed two key elements. A singer that didn’t just sing the song, but commanded the material, and gave each song life and its own story. The same way Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora feed off of each other, Floros needed a similar musical comp

Drama Queen – Drama Queen 2018

Rob Pace has played drums with many bands throughout the 80’s in both Chicago and LA. Bands like Shotgun Sally, Shark Island, Wicked Ryhme, and short stints with Energy Vampires, Diamond Rexx, No Romeo. In former bands Rob has opened for bands like Great White and Lizzy Borden. He has been part of many live and studio projects throughout the years and has rubbed elbows in the 80’s with celebs like Winger, Warrant and Ratt to name a few. Crematory – Oblivion 2018

In fact, the band went one step further on Oblivion: while Markus Jüllich and producer Kristian Bonifer were busy working on the basics of their new recording at the Kohlekellerstudio, Stefan Glass, Dirk Riegner and Walter Stobbe were asked to contribute additional input to the creative process. “Dirk comes from the indie genre and helped to add an important new nuance to the characteristic Crematory approach,” Markus Jüllich explains. “Stefan Glass is a specialist for orchestral arrangements and Walter Stobbe is a real riff virtuoso on the guitar.” The result is thoroughly compelling as well as ingenious.

Saffire – Where The Monsters Dwell 2018

Their third full length is a fine craft with a variety of different tracks. As a whole, feel more holy than their two previous plates. The result is now not as fragmented. Not as progressive as the debut, not really as AOR-oriented as the predecessor.

Drive – IDEFI 2018

Texas-based metal-turned-hard rock band Drive was active in the late ’80s and early ’90s, releasing a pair of very good (and very different) albums: 1988’s progressive/power metal gem Characters in Time and 1992’s hard rocking Diablero. Then, as the too-familiar story goes, grunge came in and this kind of music was swept aside. Drive may have called it quits, but when they did they had recorded what should have been their third album. It has remained unreleased…until now.
