THE LEATHER NUN – VIVE LA FETE! VIVE LA REVOLUTION 2017

Is it still useful to present the Swedish Punk Rocker / Indus of THE LEATHER NUN? Surely not, but it is useful to remind the “young people” that this group began its career in 1979. After a few years of absences in the 90’s-2000, the group returned to the front of the stage with WHATEVER (2016). They are back again with this VIVE LA FETE! Strange Karma – Cold Blooded 2016

I never thought the day would come when I would be reviewing vinyl records. I know their popularity has grown in recent years, especially amongst the Hipster crowd, but I never imagined I would be receiving full-length LPS in the mail for review. Crazy!

Making things even better is the fact that Strange Karma is a really good, melodic hard rock group from Australia. This is hard rock like I grew up with circa the 80’s and early 90’s when bands wrote full-length albums that were cohesive from beginning to end, and not just one-off singles to sell for .99 cents.

The songs on Cold Blooded are catchy, with big choruses an

BLIND PETITION – Law & Order Unplugged Live 2017

Over 40 years, and not a bit silent! Well, after such a long time and such a turbulent band history, one can quietly also a little down. The BLIND PETITION, according to their surprisingly strong “Law & Order” in 2014, now literally “Law & Order Unplugged Live”.

The fact that BLIND PETITION can function well without power and plug, Stormbringer was able to convince itself of the Alpine Steel Festival last year, so it is no wonder that the men around Hannes “Fusel” Bartsch will also be present in November 2016, Return to the XII intercom in the home-favorite, made a very good figure in one of their rare and popular unplugged gigs.
