Sometime in April, releasing Michael Vescera (Yngwie Malmsteen) and his new band’s debut album “Beyond The Fight”.

Dirty White Boyz is the name of a new project band in November will release their debut album through the company Escape Music. Included in the band does: Tony Mitchell (Kiss Of The Gypsy), Paul Hume (Demon, Lawless), Neil Ogden (Demon, Lawless) and Nigel Bailey (Bailey Three Lions). For mid-2017, JOHN SLOMAN announced on January 5, 2017, the release of another solo album. The CD title “Taff Trail Troubadour” and the cover has already betrayed JOHN SLOMAN. The title track is also available on his homepage. Whom the predecessor has fallen, let him rejoice. JOHN SLOMAN’s fans from the blissful URIAHHEEP times, his first Solowerk or the “Dark Matter” disc will probably leave their fingers behind again because of the first hearing. Pity!

March 2017, Tribal Stomp Records / Cargo released the THE PERC CD “Koto Funk” in beautiful Digipack. Mastermind Tom Redecker had planned together with director Günther Gerstner. The project of a theater production of Rainald Goetz’s work “Fortress” the music to contribute. First song designs and demos were recorded in the studio with guests in 1995. As the theater project was canceled, the songs disappeared into the familiar drawer, where they were dug out by Tom Redecker at the end of 2016. The late release of the 5 songs makes sense, since they are musically too valuable to leave them in the thrash.

February 2017 the Dutch dinosaurs of GOLDEN EARRING publish the CD box “Complete Studio Recordings”. In the box are all 26 studio albums released the GOLDEN EARRING from 1965 to 2015 and 3 bonus CD’s with non-album tracks. Overall the Box 307 offers GOLDEN EARRING tracks and a wonderful informative booklet by journalist Tjerk Lammers.

Canadian hard rockers Phoenix In Flames have announced that they will be releasing their first full-length album entitled Look Out! on February 24, 2017.

The three best guitarists of all time are surely Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore and Pat McManus. The first two gentlemen have unfortunately already died, but the third is fortunate enough to be in good health! And he is busy touring Europe and has a new CD in his bag: “LiveAlong The Highways” and this is – as the title suggests – a live album!

It’s been sometime since we’ve heard from Finnish progressive rock band Trusties, seven years actually. Apparently they’ve been busy working on Untouchable, a concept album, a psychological thriller, about Arthur the Martyr, a seemingly normal kid planning a mass murder. The story take place not so much in normal reality but the fantasy world of the protagonist. See the story teaser at the end of the review and following the music video for more details.

Rising only a few years from Suffolk, England, Renegade Twelve is a young modern heavy metal band. The five piece band cites some diverse influences such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Killswitch Engage, Pantera, Slash and Alter Bridge. From that we deduce one thing, Renegade Twelve is bringing a mixture classic and modern melodic hard rock and heavy metal.
