Nightfall Symphony was written in the winter 2015/16 in Berlin, and in Helsinki, Finland and recorded with producer Bernd Wendlandt (Silvermoon, Faun, Silly) in the Valicon Studios as well as the studios in Berlin Funkhaus Nalepastraße.

Conceived in the same kingdom that brewed IRON MAIDEN and NAPALM DEATH, SikTh blended the former’s gradiosity and progressive edge with the latter’s abrasivenesses and hectic shifts. But from the first listen, SikTh’s “Death of a Dead Day” sounds like it came from a universe where matchcore bands gave their hooks room to breathe, progressive bands didn’t get bogged down with proficiency and death metal bands focused on clean, melodic songs more than speed. Sure, all of that happens sometimes, but how often do you hear it all on the same record?

The CD was produced by Joost van der Broek at Sandlane Recording Facilities and was mixed by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, DESTRUCTION). The cover artwork was created by Stefan Heilemann.

Christy – who has previously played with Iced Earth, Death, Control Denied, Burning Inside and Leash Law – played drums on Monte Pittman’s Inverted Grasp Of Balance, wrote music for New York State’s “The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze” event, and co-wrote a heavy metal comedy Viking rock opera with guitarist Jason Suecof and Titmouse Animation, titled “Majestic Loincloth”.

Suecof is of course one of the most in demand producers in contemporary metal. Then there’s legendary bassist Steve DiGiorgio, who made a name for himself in the ranks of Death, Testament, Vintersorg, D

The mighty TRUCKFIGHTERS’ own label, Fuzzorama Records, and Century Media Records team up to floor the gas and fuzz pedal. The Örebro, Sweden based band was formed in 2001 by Oskar “Ozo” Cedermalm (vocals & bass) and Niklas “Dango” Källgren (guitar).
