Mudd Club / Munich ’80« brings together two historic performances by the band from spring/summer 1980. The first performance took place at FZ’s favorite NYC nightclub – the famous Mudd Club.

Presented by a high resolution transfer of the original master tape. The second recording from the Olympiahalle in Munich is Zappa’s first live stereo recording to be digitized directly. ILIUM was inspired by Homer’s Iliad and Quintus Smyrnaeus’ Fall of Troy; it was recorded in multiple studios around the world during 2022.
