Marty Venus is a British guitarist hailing from Watford, Hertfordshire. Having first picked up a guitar at the tender age of six, and joining his first band at eleven, he is most notably known for his role in hard rock band The Wicked Jackals (formerly Guns Of Anarchy) from 2013 to 2021.

Having honed his skills from playing with various bands and on several projects, he has shared the stage with the likes of Warrior Soul, Chris Holmes (ex-W.A.S.P), Jizzy Pearl (Love/Hate), Guns 2 Roses, Meansteed, Damn Dice, New Device, Beth Blade, Saints of Sin, Bulletproof Rose, Stop Stop!, Tequila Mockingbyrd

Release Date: 9 December 2022,Sweden, The rock´n´roll machine from Stockholm is back! With the second release in two years, the band´s third album ”Don´t Kill The Dark” sets the record straight. Ten songs filled with COBRA CULT trademarks, this is the natural development of the two previous ones, taken to the next level.

Intense, riff-based hard rock originating from punk and metal with catchy harmonies and personal vocals that stands out. This combination gives the band a unique sound like nothing else out there.

As requested, the Rock Candy Records ‘Remastered & Reloaded’ reissue of NUTZ albums, officially released for the first time on CD. If NUTZ doesn’t ring a bell on you, they were a little sensation in UK during the Seventies, and in the ’80s the band changed its name to RAGE delivering 3 fantastic melodic hard rock albums.

NUTZ’s second album titled “Nutz Too…” is my favorite (still got a worn LP) including in this reissue a hard to find 7” single B-side.
