As requested, the Rock Candy Records ‘Remastered & Reloaded’ reissue of NUTZ albums, officially released for the first time on CD. If NUTZ doesn’t ring a bell on you, they were a little sensation in UK during the Seventies, and in the ’80s the band changed its name to RAGE delivering 3 fantastic melodic hard rock albums.
NUTZ’s second album titled “Nutz Too…” is my favorite (still got a worn LP) including in this reissue a hard to find 7” single B-side.

We’ve been featuring here all the ’80s DeGARMO & KEY albums fully remastered for the first time, and the last from this 2022 reissue campaign is their 1984’s LP “Communication”.
”Communication” was an exhilarating experience for D&K as they became the first Christian group to have a music video appear on MTV. The clip “Six, Six, Six” became the first song to be placed in MTV’s regular rotation, however, it was pulled due to ‘violent content’. MTV had misinterpreted the song “Six, Six, Six” as an anti-Christian statement. Michigan vocalist TODD MICHAEL HALL has been in the Rock business since the ’80s with the band Harlet, with Jack Starr’s Burning Starr, Reverence, etc, and from 2013 to date he’s the frontman of RIOT V.
