The two long-time friends were the backbone of KAATO, who released a self-titled album in 2016, and a follow up Slam! in 2019. Coloursøund – Coloursøund II (2021)

Twenty years after the first album release from Coloursøund, Billy Duffy (The Cult) and Mike Peters (The Alarm) has decided it’s time to follow up with Coloursøund II. The spur for the second album came when Duffy sent Peters a guitar riff, and within weeks the pair had located to a beach cottage in North Wales coastline to write. The album was completed between lockdowns at the Chapel Studio in Lincolnshire, produced by George Williams, who also played bass, along with Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros drummer Smiley.
