The Tools – Remodeling 2020/2021
Guitarist Danny Dickman (FREEFALL, BILLY THE KID, THE HOMELESS BLUEZ BAND) began looking for experienced musicians who also wanted to move away from playing copy tunes to composing and playing originals. Danny quickly found vocalist Mike Rafone (STONE CREEK, NASTY MAC, BAD BOYS) and drummer Bud Williams (ROADWORK, TUSH) and they started playing as a three-piece band.
After about a year they added Jim Robertson (RAGE, THE NEWS, DOGS DAY, WHIPLASH, THE PEDESTRIANS, SLIM CHANCE) to the lineup. The new band was ready to go to work. Danny Dickman and Jim Robertson polished their notable skills as guitar players, song writers and vocalists. Salt Lake City had its own rock scene that could rival the scene in more populated and well-known cities. Two of the more prominent bands in the Salt Lake scene were THE TOOLS and STRYDER. These bands battled for years to be the premier rock band in Utah. STRYDER featured some great musicians including guitarist Chris Clary (JERICHO, PARADOX, GOOD COMPANY, STRYDER, ESSEXX, MEGATTACK, TYPHOID MARY, FAT LIP, CHERRY BOMB) and guitarist Gilbert Rodriguez (HARPO SKANK, ISAIAH, ROADWORK, PARADOX, GOOD COMPANY, STRYDER, ESSEXX, CHINA DOLL, SHADOW, ANGEL REIGN) who gave this melodic rock band a duel-guitar flavor that musician and fans could enjoy.

Boudreaux – Fallen Angel 2021
“Boudreaux” (Boo-drowe) is the last name of multi-talented musician Chris Boudreaux (THE TAKE, SOLDIER, RESTLESS BREED, HAIL MARY, HUNTER), who got his start as a drummer. Chris played in the Utah-based band THE TAKE, where he handled drumming duties on the album Hard Wave Heroes and received local praise for his work behind the kit. Chris was told by concert promoter Lenard McMillen, after seeing him DJ at club Xenon, that he was too flashy and animated to stay behind the drumkit and he should really think about becoming the front-man for the band. So, Chris set aside the sticks and picked up the mic. THE TAKE put out the album Get Taken, which featured Chris front and center, but this caused some riffs in the band.
