Welcome to the Vault is a 3 CD + DVD collection with 52 tracks and 21 live performances on DVD. Among the tracks are 38 previously unreleased recordings and alternative versions, of which 5 songs have never been available before. The DVD contains rare live material from the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert 1973, ABC In Concert 1974, a 1970 Fillmore West concert, Pine Knob Michigan 1982, a joint appearance by Steve and luthier Les Paul on Fat Tuesdays (1990 ) and from the show at Austin City Limits 2011.

We talked about the fact that people didn’t really seem interested in parting with their phone, even at gigs, so how about being on their phone? So we set up at The Crossing in Digbeth, Birmingham and set about recording a show to stream.
