In December 2015 Cold Chisel ended their massive One Night Stand tour with three special shows they dubbed The ‘Last Stand’ of the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

These wild, unhinged and emotional shows were played immediately prior to the iconic venue’s demolition and for Cold Chisel it had a double sense of occasion, given that the “Ent Cent” was the venue where Cold Chisel played their legendary farewell shows back in December, 1983 – the band not playing together again for another 15 years.

The singer / songwriter Kip Winger (Winger) released a few days ago the “Solo Box Set Collection”, which is now available for listening through, among other things, here. Kip Winger rode the wave of the ’80s/early ’90s pop-metal explosion first with Alice Cooper and then in the wildly successful band of his namesake, WINGER, before beginning a solo career in the late ’90s.

The re-release of Jeff’s first two CDs together! Jeff originally recorded Warp Speed in 3 days as a demo of his guitar playing. It was later picked up by a label in Mexico and released there on CD.
He then was offered a record deal to do Woodpecker Stomp which featured a couple of the Warp Speed tracks redone as well as the Title track Woodpecker Stomp which went on to become the first instrumental ever to break into the top 10 on the ccm rock charts! Woodpecker Stomp was also in heavy rotation on the nation’s number one rock station “Z-Rock”.
