Addiction sees the singer returning to a much harder rocking sound. Guitarist Marc Bonilla performs, co-produces and co-wrote nine of the ten original songs. Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of this album from the rock vocalist. Glenn Hughes, undoubtedly The Voice Of Rock, came to prominence in Trapeze, a group which included future Whitensake guitarist Mel Galley, and Judas Priest drummer Dave Holland. Trapeze were on the brink of major Stateside success, when, in 1973, Glenn was offered the golden opportunity to play bass and sing with Deep Purple, joined by David Coverdale, for Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band. Double Trouble is the fifth album by the British rock band Gillan, released in 1981. It was released as a double album, the first disc containing studio material, and the second containing live recordings. It reached No. 12 in the UK charts. In 1989, Virgin re-released the album, with the same track listing, in CD format. It is the first album to feature Janick Gers, since Bernie Tormé left the group during the tour of Germany in 1981.

The group’s debut album is called “No Light but Rather Darkness Visible” and the concept behind this intriguing title, is questioning the Eastern vs Western modern conflict but from a metaphysical point of view. Guest musicians on the CD include Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND), who recorded and performed all rhythm and lead guitars, and Jani Liimatainen (SONATA ARCTICA), who laid down leads on one of the two instrumental songs of the album.
