The band was formed in early 2011. Attila Ádám, the band’s keyboardist and songwriter, wanted to hear his own instrumental and atmospheric music in a full orchestral environment, furthering the songs with guitar, drums and singing melodies. He was looking for musicians who liked this world, catchy tunes and metals with symphonic inserts.

Mournful Lines, from Oulu, was founded in 2013. They have been around for quite a while. Their music can be seen as melancholic metal, without being afraid of mixing other genres into their sound. Mournful Lines is back with their second full-length album “Versatility”.
