Vassal of Decadence is a one-man-band project founded by Dylan Berube. He became interested in metal at a young age, particularly the guitar. At 19, he felt it was time to share his own creations with the world. Only to find that his “art” sounded like it was recorded with a potato. This led him down the long road of audio engineering.

He is a seven-time recipient of the GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and was twice nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album. He has frequently been listed as one of the world’s top-three “finger-style”, as well as “finger-picking”, guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine readers’ polls.
