BJORN STIGSSON – TOGETHER WITH FREINDS 1987

Sweden Here is what Angelica Warlord had to say “Together With Friends stands the test of time as nothing less than a first-rate Christian hard rock album. When taking into consideration the quality of its songwriting in addition to the top-notch talent performing on it, I cannot help but think the album would have sold a million copies if given the same promotion as Stryper’s To Hell With The Devil. (Just my opinion.)
All around, I would rank Together With Friends a notch ahead of any Leviticus album, and, for all practical purposes, remains to this day the best project Stigsson has been association with.

Hulk Hogan And The Wrestling Boot Band ‎– Hulk Rules (1994) (Reissue 1995)

Hulk Hogan is (was) a famous wrestler in the 80’s and 90s with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF now WWE) and WCW (World Championship Wrestling). He has also made action movies and was appearing in his own reality TV show “Hogan Knows Best”. Hogan was also a musician, spending a decade playing fretless bass guitar in several Florida-based rock bands. Hogan and two local musicians formed a band called Ruckus in 1976. He was the frontman for The Wrestling Boot Band, whose sole record, Hulk Rules, reached #12 on the Billboard Top Kid Audio chart in 1995. The album was released in Europe in 1994 and the US in 1995 with different trackorder and new artwork.

Svetlana Bliznakova Sevi feat. Johnny Gioeli – Tomorrow 2020

Following the music work of Svetlana and her band Sevi so far, I know that they were often on tours, that they played live. At this point in the viral pandemic, those activities have almost stopped. This will greatly reduce the “range” of the songs from this remarkable album. Again, I hope that quality will find a way to reach those for whom it is intended – the listeners that values enduring values.

MICHAEL BOLTON – Michael Bolton 1983 [Japanese CD reissue] 1983

Michael Bolotin. The guy got the chance to record two (forgettable) albums in the ’70s, but a very promising songwriter. The he joined BlackJack and released two strong melodic albums.

But it was with this self-titled ”Michael Bolton” – now using his professional name MICHAEL BOLTON, where he really showcased all his potential – many songs on this album were covered later by other artists like Eric Martin, Axel Rudi Pell, etc.
It was 1983. It was time for radio-friendly rock, with catchy melodies and a smooth AOR sound.
Future Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick is the partner in crime here, but other luminaries from the genre like bro Bob Kulick, Aldo Nova, George Clinton, Mark Mangold (Drive She Said), Chuck Burgi (Rainbow), an
