Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.
1992 Skyward Lights Records INDIE Release from Christian AOR Artists, “GROUND FLOOR,” with their MEGA RARE AND ORIGINAL PRESS CD entitled, “WEEP NO MORE.” Ground Floor is a massive Christian AOR/Melodic Rock RARITY .

Just-If-I was a short lived one album project formed by Mike Reno, Neil Shilskin & Sam Kalenuik. The album was self released in 1991. During the following years the album got re-released by minor record companies in Canada (1993) , Japan (1993), Germany (1994) and USA (1996). In 2012 German label AOR Heaven reissued the album in a limited edition.
Besides the tree founders the album includes performances by Russell Klyne, Neal Schon, Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve, Matt Frenette, James McGillveray, Dee Daniels, David Steele and Ian Putz.

During his career in music Jimmy (Jim) Messina has been a major influence in creating the country rock sound, which bands as Eagles made world famous. He first became known to a greater public when working first as engineer and producer for Buffalo Springfield and finally bass player in the band. After they split Jimmy Messina together with Richie Furay in 1968 formed Poco (originally named Pogo). Two years and three albums later he left Poco and signed on as independent producer with Columbia. In late 1970 the intention was he should be in charge of recording songs with Kenny Loggins, but they ended up playing and recording together for seven years as Loggins And Messina. Since then he has most of the time worked as a solo artist releasing his first album in 1979.

The 2-disc collection Destination Known is the ultimate Alliance anthology. A supergroup of sorts (most of these guys are b-listers in the AOR scene), UK-based melodic rock band Alliance features Robert Berry (3, Hush), Gary Phil and David Lauser (Sammy Hagar) and Alan Fitzgerald (Montrose, Gamma, Night Ranger). The band emerged in the early `90s, just as the melodic rock sound was falling out of fashion, and had a sound deeply rooted in the AOR and arena rock of that era.

Hurry Up And Wait is the 4th solo album by Joe Lynn Turner released in 1998. According to Turner, there were supposed to be two tracks on the album featuring Doogie White, ‘Too Much is Not Enough’ and ‘Freedom’s Wings’, but the latter didn’t make the album. Also, ‘Too Much Is Not Enough’ was first recorded for the unreleased follow-up of Rescue You.
