Prayer – Wrong Address 2005

frontPRAYER are a Melodic Rock/AOR band hailing from Oulu, Northern Finland. “Wrong Address” is their brand new debut album which includes 11 catchy and hookladen songs with lots of double guitars and great keyboards.

All songs have been written by Tapani Tikkanen, who is the driving force behind Prayer. Tapani´s musical career began in the early eighties with “IC-Rock” and continued later on with “Tanna”. Together with those bands he did hundreds of gigs all over Finland but after several albums and more than 20 000 records sold, it was time for a break. Still, Tapani kept on writing songs all the time,

Hearts On Fire – Call Of Destiny 2018

Formed in 2017 by Jean Funes, guitarist of Sound Of Eternity. He had the vision to create an AOR / melodic rock band in the style of his lifetime heroes Def Leppard, Journey, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Europe and called his former bandmate in Codigo Eterno, drummer Joel Mejia, who shares this passion and vision of creating new music and together Hearts On Fire was started.

“This is the album I’ve always wanted to make,” says Jean Funes. “The sound of Eternity had this modern rock nuance, and I’m proud of the alb

David Drew – Safety Love (1988)

Копия FrontWhen I first bought this record, I dismissed it – for whatever reason. Was it the Billy Idol similarity? Yes, probably, but what I shouldn’t have done is consign this album to the back of the collection to gather dust. It’s better than that. Californian based David Drew is a one-man-does-all in the vein of Aldo Nova, by the looks of things. Not only does he sound like his idol Billy Idol, he even plays guitar like Steve Stevens.

One thing is for sure: the guy can play, and the resulting songs sound ok, even after all these years collecting dust. Helping out are Utopia‘s Kasim Sulton and session drummer Thommy Price (soon to go onto the Atomic Playboys with Steve Stevens)

Star chase – Afterlife 2018

the very fine melodic rock stars of Melbourne, Australia: StarChase! For those who may not know, StarChase is the 5-piece band featuring a very familiar name on lead vocals/guitars: Jason Old from The Radio Sun (and previously Safire, Square One, Someone Elses Life). After the 15th anniversary of the original Safire EP, Steve and Jase began writing together initially for fun, with no other plan other than to write as many songs as they could.
