PRAYER are a Melodic Rock/AOR band hailing from Oulu, Northern Finland. “Wrong Address” is their brand new debut album which includes 11 catchy and hookladen songs with lots of double guitars and great keyboards.

All songs have been written by Tapani Tikkanen, who is the driving force behind Prayer. Tapani´s musical career began in the early eighties with “IC-Rock” and continued later on with “Tanna”. Together with those bands he did hundreds of gigs all over Finland but after several albums and more than 20 000 records sold, it was time for a break. Still, Tapani kept on writing songs all the time,

When I first bought this record, I dismissed it – for whatever reason. Was it the Billy Idol similarity? Yes, probably, but what I shouldn’t have done is consign this album to the back of the collection to gather dust. It’s better than that. Californian based David Drew is a one-man-does-all in the vein of Aldo Nova, by the looks of things. Not only does he sound like his idol Billy Idol, he even plays guitar like Steve Stevens.

One thing is for sure: the guy can play, and the resulting songs sound ok, even after all these years collecting dust. Helping out are Utopia‘s Kasim Sulton and session drummer Thommy Price (soon to go onto the Atomic Playboys with Steve Stevens)…

Spectra Kenny Leckremo, featuring former HEAT singer Kenny Leckremo, released the song “10 Years” from their new album, which will be released on October 19, 2018. Leckremo was the singer of HEAT from 2007 to 2010 and held the lead vocals on the first two albums of HEAT (2008) and Freedom Rock (2010).
