Angel Air pay’s homage to all of these great musicians and vocalists and in particular the lovely Maggie Bell, Del Bromham (Stray), the ‘guys’ in MTH and British Lions, Graham and Steve from Oliver Dawson Saxon, John McCoy, Robin George, Nick Simper (Fandango, Quatermass II and of course…Warhorse) and Bobby Harrison (Nobody’s Business and Freedom) to name but a few. ROBIN GEORGE’s first major release was “The History” 12inch EP in 1983. The single “Go Down Fighting” did really well. He and his band were gigging and were about to become the new TRAPEZE when DAVE HOLLAND had an offer he could not refuse and he joined JUDAS PRIEST. The label decided not to pick up its option on the album and the masters have sat in the vaults until recently when Robin remastered them for the digital age.
MALCOLM DOME back in 83 had heard the early album demos which had been recorded between 1979 and 1981 and he jumped at the opportunity to write the sleeve notes for this 2014 release.
On the track “Showdown” PHIL LYNOTT plays bass. Robin George has had a distinguished career over the past three decades, working with a succession of major names. “H

Soaring vocals, inspired guitars , from two guys in the heartland.Frank Wiewel and Keith “Howdy” Brown played together in the Iowa band West Minist’r. They also built a recording studio of the same name. Wiewel went on to play with HAWKS.

Hoggez Orkester started in Uddevalla (Sweden) in March 2009 as a one man band, in which Hogge himself sings and played all the instruments (except the solo guitar). The first album was For your Pleasure (2010).
Some singles, in Swedish, was also released with this one man band: Jul Igen (2011), Victoria (2012), and in 2013 I relesed Ljug För Mig and Till Dig (Natasha).
However. In the end of 2012 Hogge started the search for a band. And also find some great guys to play with. But the band is still under construction, so Hoggez Orkester will continue as a one man band for some time.
