A truly beautiful CD of a fabulous 1977 concert. The person who has given this a one star review becuase he claims it is ‘not Terrys last stand’ – or so Mr Know All tells us, kinda misses the point me-thinks. Oh , and you can get virtually anything free on the internet if you want to! Does that make the best 10 albums ever made ( whatever they are – a persoal choice ) all one star releases.

I had no business spending in the first place only to be brought nearly to tears at the glorious sound from two of my most loved albums. Perhaps they will do the same for Sanford / Townsend “Smoke from a Distant Fire” the only other album that fits this same need also from the vaults of Warner Brothers Records.

During the late 70s and half of the 80s there were a number of U.S. bands located in the Northeast that never got the recognition they so rightly deserved. Those bands included ANGEL , STARZ , THE GODZ and the incomparable DC STAR. From 1977 to 1987 DC Star packed venues all over the region and even snagged a deal with Atlantic Records who would release their ‘Rockin in the Classroom’ album in 1985.
