Erick Blore – Fantasia Americana (2017)

Being raised by the church organist, my mother would have to be my biggest influence. Also growing up surrounded by highly talented friends was invaluable. Having the best radio station on the planet operating in ones high school didn’t hurt either (WMNR). My first “favorite” band was the J. Geils Band. My first concert was Queensryche’s Empire tour (Suicidal Tendencies opened). I haven’t met a genre of music I haven’t liked, but classical, progressive rock/metal, and jazz have worn out my turntable.

Virtual Symmetry – X-Gate (2017) EP

With exquisite influences from the areas of ambient, fusion, pop and contemporary music, these men of taste enrich their multi-faceted PROGRESSIVE METAL sound since their start in 2009.

Singer Marco Pastorino and his bandmates focus mainly on romantic melodies, surreal atmospheres and chasing rhythms. The futuristically accentuated mixture of the Milan quintet gets rounded off by suggestive backgrounds in the emphasized harmonious soundframe.
