It developed from psychedelic rock and originated, similarly to art rock, as an attempt to give greater artistic weight and credibility to rock music.

The British prog-rock band East of Eden was perhaps one of the first bands to use violins and saxophones in their arsenal. The recipe EoE used to make music was this: a dose of rock, a dose of jazz a la Coltrane, a dose of classical a la Bartok, and everything is seasoned with oriental twists.

His music is difficult to attribute to any genre. At times leaning towards frank rock, at times soaring towards the Pink Floyd music of the spheres, he often includes elements of classical music in his creations (not without the influence of his violinist wife?).
With a commendable sense of taste, he combines elements of Western and Eastern musical cultures without being dominated by one of them. The center of gravity of his performance lies in the combination of visual and acoustic principles.

We have a lot more influences from mainstream bands like CHEAP TRICK, BEATLES, THE WHO, PINK FLOYD. And we develop these moods in the 90s with our music. And we do not perform nostalgic music at all, but represent a truly NEW direction that uses these and other influences.
