Rikard Sjöblom’s Gungfly are pleased to announce ‘Friendship’, their brand new studio album, due out on 9th November 2018. Following the release of 2017’s ‘On Her Journey To The Sun’, as well as 2018’s retrospective 5CD collection ‘Rumbling Box’, the band masterminded by former Beardfish frontman & current Big Big Train member Rikard Sjöblom, are happy to reveal their fourth full-length release.

Guy Manning has had a long a varied and well respected musical career to date. An ex-Tangent member, his own outfit (Manning) played a number of prestigious festivals and he is also a founder member of UPF (the United Progressive Fraternity). After the release of the UPF debut album “Fall In Love With The World” and a short promotional tour to support it, Guy went back into his home studio to write pieces that were earmarked for the follow up UPF album.

The C-Sides were formed in 2007 by Magenta band members Martin Rosser, Allan Mason-Jones and Dan Fry.
Taking a modern rock element and weaving it with the classic early 1970’s Rush sound, they made the C-Sides (aka The C Sides Project).

Featuring the layered guitars of Martin Rosser, the punchy drums of Allan Mason-Jones and the dynamic vocals of Dan Fry, the C-Sides came together to make a classic rock album, that also captures elements of the modern heavy bands of the moment.

C Sides biography Founded in Wales, UK in 2007. In 2007, three ex-members of Magenta – Allan MASON-JONES (drums, percussion), Dan FRY (bass, voices), and Martin ROSSER (guitars, keyboards, voices) – formed another project named C SIDES (aka The C SIDES PROJECT) with massive inspiration by early 70s Rush.

This album is my most ambitious musical project to date, which converges my influences of classical and orchestral music with progressive rock, creating an original proposal, characterized by its complexity and instrumental virtuosity. “The Journey continues” is a conceptual album, that is, whose music and lyrics try to address a common theme, which in this case is the search for self-knowledge.
