Progressive rock, also known as prog rock or prog, is a rock music subgenre that originated in the United Kingdom, with further developments in Germany, Italy, and France, throughout the mid-to-late 1960s and 1970s. It developed from psychedelic rock and originated, similarly to art rock, as an attempt to give greater artistic weight and credibility to rock music.
The end result is an album which is very much an effort by the veteran band Grayceon are, as they gracefully exercise their unique sound and the tropes of the genre to immediate and heartfelt success. Firmament is a band from Canton, Ohio. Formed in 2011, the group has since received international radio airplay, nominations for “Best Up-and-Coming Band” and “Best Vocalist” (NEO Music Awards), and has appeared on several anthology albums.
