The album saw a reunion of the band with Annie Haslam, Michael Dunford and Terence Sullivan coming together to record this album at Astra Studios in Kent. The sessions also featured an appearance by keyboard player John Tout on ‘Pearls of Wisdom’, ‘Dear Landseer’ and ‘Dolphins Prayer’,

the latter two songs also featuring guest Roy Wood (who also appeared on ‘Life in Brazil’). The band was further augmented by keyboard player Mickey Simmonds.
