Progressive rock, also known as prog rock or prog, is a rock music subgenre that originated in the United Kingdom, with further developments in Germany, Italy, and France, throughout the mid-to-late 1960s and 1970s. It developed from psychedelic rock and originated, similarly to art rock, as an attempt to give greater artistic weight and credibility to rock music.
UK Samoans released their debut album ‘Rescue’ in 2014 to critical acclaim and toured extensively for two years playing with the likes of No Devotion and Kids in Glass Houses and recording a BBC Radio 1 session at Maida Vale.The album was also nominated for the coveted Welsh Music Prize.

The experimental rock trio tease the record’s carnivalesque atmosphere with lead single “The Seven,” an ever-mutating epic filled with marching rhythms, jarring tempo shifts and a prog-funk groove (cleverly set in 7/8) that recalls early Eighties King Crimson.

Following the roots of masters of progressive music like Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull, King Krimson, Led Zeppelin and taking inspiration from modern progressive/alternative bands like Pain of Salvation, Riverside and Porcupine Tree, Dropshard attempt to create its own music with two EPs – DSI (2008) and DSII (2009) – clearly reflecting the mood and the energy that moves the band.

QUANTUM FANTAY started in 2004 when Pete Mush and Jaro formed a new band after they’ve both been in the now disbanded “OREGON”. Pete is the current keyboard player in the Belgian progressive rock band “GIRRIBIZZI” and Jaro is handling the bass in a local cover band. Soon Gino Bartolini and Charles Sla came on board.
