Europe – On The Loose (EP) (1985) Soundtrack
In 1985 Europe recorded the soundtrack for the film On the Loose, which gave them the hit “Rock the Night”. The track “Broken Dreams” is unique to this disc and can not be found on any other release. This disc was only sold at special events such as screenings of the movie On the Loose and Europe concerts on that particular 1985 tour.
Joey Tempest and Europe also participated in the movie.

Jimi Jamison – Ever Since The World Began (1989) (single tracks, 2 versions) from the movie “Lock Up”
In 1989 Jimi Jamison contributed his own version of “Ever Since The World Began” to the film Lock Up, a song Survivor had initially recorded prior to his tenure in the band.
The song was released as a single being Jamisons first release as a solo artist.
The second song on the single “Cry Alone” was later included on his first album release “When Love Comes Down”.
This post includes two different versions of “Ever Since The World Began”.

Heavy Metal is a 1981 Canadian adult animated sci-fi-fantasy film directed by Gerald Potterton, produced by Ivan Reitman and Leonard Mogel, who also was the publisher of Heavy Metal magazine, which was the basis for the film. The soundtrack was released on LP in 1981, but for legal reasons, was not released on CD until 1995.
Blue Öyster Cult wrote and recorded a song called “Vengeance (The Pact)” for the film, but the producers declined to use the song because the lyrics provided a capsulized summary of the “Taarna” vignette.
The 1995 releases are the only releases on CD. In 2017 a remastered version was released on LP only.
