On this installment, the mystical music of the band Gong, who nicknamed themselves the “Pothead Pixies,” is performed live in concert. Frontman David Allen, decked out in an ornate velvet ensemble and covered in white face paint, leads his band in expressive renditions of songs like “Can’t Kill Me,” “Radio Gnomes,” and “Voix Lactee.”
