Lordi is a Finnish English-language shock rock band. Founded in 1996 by Tomi Putaansuu (aka Mr. Lordi). The group is famous for performing in masks and costumes of monsters from the underworld and performing ironic horror-themed songs. Lordi is the winner of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.
