The concert featured in this edition by American hard rock guitarist Ted Nugent took place at the DTE Energy Music Theater Detroit MI on 08.21.2001, although Wikipedia says about this concert that it took place on the eve of the new year on December 31, 2000 as part of the annual Whiplash Bash ( Scourge Strike) by Ted Nugent in Detroit Michigan. Dokken achieved global fame in 1983 as one of the most successful bands to emerge from Los Angeles’ era-defining metal scene. They had originally formed in Southern California in the late ’70s, and went on to have initial success in Germany, where they recorded their debut, Breaking The ChainsM, in 1981.
