In 1957, Timex sponsored a series of variety show specials starring Frank Sinatra, broadcast on the ABC television network. The last in the series, taped on 12th May 1960 in Miami, was perhaps the best of all, featuring Elvis Presley, upon completion of his National Service.

This DVD, remastered from the archive tape of the original show in its entirety, including the sponsor’s promotional segments. Whilst the quality of reproduction does not meet modern technological standards, it is a rare record of two of the most popular performers of the twentieth century performing together.

Notes on show:I seem to recall hearing the simulcast of this on THE Rock radio station at the time KRQR.I believe this was also the concert that MTV filmed for their old Saturday night concert series.Needless to say,the sound quality on this is excellent.What is cool about this,is that their are songs here that did not make it on their one and only album “Through the Fire”.Hope you all enjoy.

Warren Haynes perform with both his Warren Haynes Band and also offer up a very special set along with the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama. Sheryl Crow make her first Xmas Jam appearance performing with her band which includes Xmas Jam “regulars” Audley Freed, Robert Kearns and Fred Eltringham.
