Deliver Us is a mystical metal masterpiece, an obscure blueprint for a style yet to be defined. The anthemic opening title track marches out holding their holy banner high. Winter Tears is a bit more rocking but is followed by the classic speed metal staple “Child Of The Damned”. The B-side starts off with the mid-tempo rocker Penny For A Poor Man, followed by the doomier Black Mass, finishing the original track listing with the nuclear Lucifer’s Hammer. Bonus tracks include the non-album track Mrs Victoria, orig. from Metal Massacre III and the Lost & Lonely Days/Aliens single, the latter featuring a different vocalist.
