Hearts Ann and Nancy Wilson returned to their hometown of Seattle to stage a celebration of the Christmas season, gathering a few of their friends to join them in singing holiday classics, personal favorites and some of their own hits. Special guests Shawn Colvin, Sammy Hagar, Richard Marx and Pat Monahan from Train joined HEART for this once-in-a-lifetime concert, which was taped on Dec. 12 2013 at the beautiful Benaroya Symphony Concert Hall in Seattle. The Wilson sisters performed an array of holiday songs written by Joni Mitchell, Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan and Hagar in their Christmas set as well as some of HEART s favorite songs. Colvin, Hagar, Marx and Monahan provided additional vocals on the tunes and/or sing duets with Heart.

Jeff Buckley [November 17, 1966 – May 29, 1997] iconic American rock vocalist and guitarist died at the age of thirty. Endowed like his father, Tim Buckley, with strong vocals, Jeff was shaped as a musician under the influence of Van Morrison and Led Zeppelin . Gained popularity in the early 90s playing covers at various events at Manhattan’s East Village such as Sin-e and slowly began to focus on his own work.

Recorded in 1996 at the Sydney Opera House plaza, “Crowded House” plays their farewell concert to an appreciative crowd of over 120,000. The 24-song set contains amazingly pure and tight sound with Neil Finn’s voice at its best. There are no stand-out cuts, as the band gives it best performance to date on every track. It is flawless.

The comments from the band to the audience between songs makes this one of the most personable concerts ever recorded. Slight variations on some songs and an accent here and there make the fans sing along throughout. The closing song, “Don’t Dream its Over” is as emotional as ever, with shots of the crowd signing along and the band emoting, realizing this really is their last song together. It&#8
