Tommy Henriksen – Bluto Nero 2011

After buying and loving “Star Struck” so much, I decided to buy the rest of Tommy Henriksen’s CD’s found on Amazon (I think all but 1 are available). His lyrics & melodies are catchy, his vocals are natural, the music is played on real instruments (unless electronics are used for specific effects), he’s also clever, witty, funny; and offers positive, empowering, & uplifting mood and messages. I can hear influences from other iconic artists blended into his music. Although he currently tours with Alice Cooper and the Hollywood Vampires, he could easily tour on his own and draw audiences from fans who love Peter Gabriel, Rick Springfield, Beck and Beastie Boys. In fact, he could easily collaborate with Rick Springfield.

I.C. Eyes ‎– Faith In Colours 1988

I.C. Eyes ‎– Faith In Colours 1988
One of the finest hi-tech AOR albums Scandinavia ever had to offer. Yet another release excellently produced by Murray Munro. However, compared to Avenue Talk, this has more emphasis on guitars, while still retaining some of the hi-tech elements. I.C. Eyes are as much pop as they are AOR, but they have good songs, with the melodic sensebilities of early A-Ha and arrangements in the style of Pseudo Echo’s “Race”.
