The Dutch Flag – Give Me The Night

Pete Young & The Dutch Flag was a Dutch AOR Melodic Hard Rock band from Tilburg. At the time the band were quite popular and played alot of shows, especially in the Tilburg area

. But it seems the band is totally forgotten anno 2014. This is because I can’t find any information on the internet about them and there’s not much talk about these guys anymore here in my hometown. With this release they changed their name from Pete Young & The Dutch Flag to just The Dutch Flag. Also this release packs more of a punch.

Lip Service – Six of the Best 2009

Three years ago a young and fresh UK band by the name of Lip Service impressed the hell out of me with their Cinderella influenced sleaze metal. If you’re wondering why such a promising group went into hiding the last few years, the answer is simple — the dreaded line-up change. Today, only singer/guitarist Neil Fielding remains from the band that kick-started their career with Come ‘An Get It. Instead of sitting in the studio for months, Lip Service decided to record a 6 song EP to showcase the new band members.
